Man is a social being, man is an animal, according to science human being is no less than a chemical laboratory , but apart from being all of these man also has a spiritual aspect & that comes from 'soul' which resides inside our human bodies. The soul is free, its pure, its always good , its a feeling to be experienced & not an entity to be possesed. So this blog will help you to proudly say that I can enhance & maintain Beauty of My Soul.

Introduction
Taking care of your body is very important, we all strive hard constantly to look better, beautiful & presentable, its something that makes us feel good about ourselves. It gives the innate happiness. But alongwith the external beauty we need to focus very precisely on internal beauty as well & that is beauty of our soul.

Its very crucial to keep your spiritual health in shape alongwith your physical , emotional & mental health. All these 4 factors work in tandem to make us able to lead better & satisfied life. So we need to pay keen attention on our spiritual health to ensure our well being.

Nourish Your Soul
We are all familiar about the importance of nourishment for leading healthy lives, in that respect we are aware with the concepts of nourishing our body & mind, but often we skip on nourishing our soul. Just like mind & body our soul also needs to be taken care of , infact it deserves more care than body & mind.
The emotional ups & downs, the physical stress, mental stress, physical illness etc all directly play a major part in determining the condition of our spiritual health.

Also the people around us , their behaviour towards us good or bad, the situations occuring in our surroundings everyday put a great impact on our spiritual conditions. Its not just coincidence then that people who are wounded physically can be cured but the ones with wounded souls have no way back. The result of having a wounded soul surfaces in the form of various psychological conditions like depression, anorexia, bulimia etc.
All these conditions are warning signs, an alarm given by body that something is wrong, if neglected now consequences can be dire. Always remember a mental illness is not a problem its a symptom that needs attention , love & care.

Seek Solitude
Seeking solitude is to take time to reflect on your innerself. To have a dedicated time slot where you peep inside yourself & see what needs to fixed, needs to be taken care of & needs immediate attention & action. Seeking such solitude helps you to know where you are heading in terms of maintaining your own well being & which are the areas that need more work.

To self reflect you don't need any fancy setup , you just need to find that time of the day when you are alone & devote that time to yourself, just sit back , relax & close your eyes while listening to your own inner voice , establish a conversation that will help you to be friend of yourself. Don't be judgemental , critical or harsh on yourself. Make sure that this is just like giving your body a massage, the aim is to soothe & not to bruise.
Here are few pointers which may help you to seek some solitude

• Indulge into meditation, yoga or any mind calming exercise

• Go out for a nice long walk.

• Develop love for nature, watch a sunset at the beach, a view of mountains, birds in the sky etc.

• Dive into art, music, dance, painting, acting, to name a few go ahead & pursue the one that you love the most.

• Eat good , nutricious food. It will help you to maintain stable health.

• Talk to your loved ones , spend time with them, ask them to guide you for overcoming your lacunas. 

Spirituality
Now mostly for people spirituality associates with God & prayers, attending holy places, or doing something that is considered as an offering or service to God. For me personally spirituality is all of the above & also a service to yourself.
Spirituality lies in the way you are from the inside, it is your inner self , the way you behave, your thoughts, your perspectives, your values, ideals , morals & your conscience.
All these qualities make you a pure , genuine person. A human being who treats everyone with equal respect, care,love & empathy, who has minimal prejudice, agony, jealousy or ego , who pursues humanity as a the most important value of his life.

Spirituality is a cleanser which helps you to get rid of anything that may pollute your conscience & kill the humanity inside you.
Never loose your sense of being spiritual as a person.

Sharing Soulfulness
Sharing soulfulness can be achieved through your actions. Here are few deeds that you can do at the least to share soulfulness

• Be kind, generous & humble to people around you.

• Have dignity of labour.

• Treat everyone with equal respect.

• Be warm , caring towards people

• Let the ego, prejudice & bigotry melt & may compassion replace it.

• Help the needy in anyway you can, big or small never makes a difference.

• Love unconditionally.

When you share soulfulness you become a richer soul yourself, do it & see it will change your life, I say this because it has changed my life.

  1. Definitely, Beauty of the soul is all about being content with who you are! & sustaining that serenity for attaining quality of life. Yes, when your soul is distorted, one needs to seek solitude to re-evaluate & reassess your soul being. Being jubilant is not always possible but keeping oneself in buoyant mood will always give you in bigger picture of what lies ahead of you. It's very imperative topic to touch on because world starts & ends from you. If you are not happy, then what's the point being "You".
