Stress Management : Do It Easy

 We all have stress in our lives, we all try & make our life as stress free as possible but its not always easy to get rid of stress in our daily routine.

In this blog I will try & give you some easy tips on stress management, before we head there lets understand about stress & its type in brief.

Introduction
Stress can be consequence of anything that causes a person to feel incapable of handling the given situation or a desparate attempt to to escape from a problem.
Stress in particular is partly internal & partly external , as in someone can impose a stressful situation on you making you feel uncomfortable or sometimes a person himself feels lack of confidence or capability to handle a task & may feel stress as a result.

Types of stress
There are several types of stress but for a brief introduction lets focus on one widely occuring type of stress 
Oxidative stress
Oxidative stress is a medical condition caused inside human body due to presence of free radicals. These free radicals are nothing but
-OH ( hydroxy ) molecules.
Such type of stress can result in severe bodily dysfunction causing cell damage, tissue damage in severe cases.
This type of stress is widely present in all kinds of people & can occur as a result of daily problems faced on work, personal, mental & physical level.

Do It Easy 
To beat the stress in our daily lives we can do a number of things right from certain diet changes to something physically demanding like exercise.

Hobbies
Its must for every human being to have a hobby, a passion in life which is not your profession just a pursuit for happiness & your own enjoyment.
Its said that when your hobby is your profession its the best thing in the world but I always believe if thats the case then there should be few more hobbies which can provide you escape from work.

Take out the time for pursuing your hobbies & if you don't have any well there is never late to find one! 

What can be done
• Dancing
• Singing
• Playing an instrument
• Painting
• Cooking
• Reading
• Writing
• Listening to music
• Watching your favourite content
• Shopping ! Yes it works
• And much more

Exercise
Yes! exercise is stress buster & it always doesn't have to be the only choice also it doesn't need to be only cardio or weight training 
Exercise is something which you should enjoy from within
So right from house chores to dancing, taking a walk, going for run or a jog , walking your pets out for me all that counts in exercise.
Sports are the best exercise one can have.

If you are a type of person who doesn't prefer much athletic stuff then you can always choose something like meditation or even practising yoga can help reduce stress levels.

Diet
Diet & stress may sound a mismatch at first but in fact it goes hand in hand.
Whatever we eat & our daily lifestyle plays a crucial role in maintaining a balanced state in our body.
Keeping in mind the lifestyles that we have now 

We should AVOID eating

1. Foods with high sodium content

2. Foods with high sugar content

3. Junk & deep fried foods

4. Orders & takeout

We SHOULD eat

1. Fresh fruits berries like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc 

2. Consume green tea 

3. Freshly available fruits 

4. Vegetables : salads & greens in particular

5. Avocado, Dragon fruit, cherries 

6. Dark chocolate

The above mentioned foods are rich sources of anti oxidants & help to reduce the oxidative stress in the body.
The consumption of aerated drinks, alcohol should be avoided or reduced as much as possible due to their high sugar content & potential hazards respectively.

Mental health
Good mental state can ultimately help in reducing the stress levels. To maintain a healthy mental state all the above mentioned factors are important but alongwith that a person should embrace positivity & optimism. & constantly keep searching for all the sources that provide these conditions.

A sound sleep , good diet, healthy body, happy mind keeps the stress away & helps the body to be capable & cope with the daily pressures & handle them well without panicking.
It is also important to prioritise the things in life & treat them accordingly, we can't afford to stress about everything in life neither can we afford to be casual about everything, make a wise & practical choice of what is really crucial & give it first priority.

People often tend to be mentally sensitive & take things to their heart which causes them to be more prone to stress than those who are emotionally strong, in such cases person needs to learn to be emotionally intelligent & make practical choices over emotional ones, its not an overnight miracle but its surely not impossible.

Speaking of embracing positivity & optimism a person needs to pay close attention to type of people he / she surround themselves with. Surround yourself with people who are positive, happy, optimistic about life & spend more time with them. Also choose your role models accordingly who inspire & motivate you to live life at its fullest.

Time Management
Time is money we all know that but we should also know Time management is stress buster.
The person who knows time management wins half battle with stress.
Managing your time for all the tasks in a given day puts you in a strict disciplined & balanced schedule which helps you not only to finish the work as planned but also have some leisure & enjoyment.

When we plan our day & all the to do list is done very few times it happens that we face some urgencies & even then we can handle it successfully because we have the plan ready for the entire day.

To organize the tasks one can follow simple steps

1. Make a to do list 

2. Set reminders on your phone , alexa, google device

3. Plan your tasks in order starting from highest to lowest priority

4. Put tasks with maximum efforts at the time when you are most productive mentally & physically.

5. Do the planning one night prior

6. Write it down if you wish

7. Always keep time for your lesiure activities , lunch breaks , sleep never avoid or compromise on them they are real escapes !

8. Make sure you follow this routine consistently

It starts from YOU !
Choosing to be stress free in the most critical times comes from within & that can be only done by you.
Choose to happy over sad, optimistic over pessimistic, fight over surrender & life can be little easy, bright & fresh !
These choices are not always easy but so is nothing in life ,you have to work for everything in life to achieve it so managing stress is no less than a little work to be done.
Also loving your job , your profession helps to reduce work related stress & can help you prevent from feeling the burden of work, it would be more enjoyable.

Choose good people to surround yourself with, good friends to be with , spend quality time with your family, friends, loved ones & get involved in their talks.
Share your problems with people , have fruitful discussions & find a solution together with your close circuit.
Effective communication is the key to solving many stress related issues 

Also in severe cases do not delay & hesitate in seeking proper medical care.
You have to take care of yourself to take care of your loved ones.!

  1. Yes... I completely agree with your content that nothing is impossible even though it seems so impossible for the people who go through it. I would rather say there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. People may visit mental health care provider which is also very imperative decision to take but realising when you need because this is all temporary relief for time being. Only self care & self realisation can get you off the grid of stress. I appreciate you brought light to such dimmed topic which is very important these days
