TOP GUN :Why I Love It ?

 We all know how our & our friend's faces look like when someone says TOP GUN !!

The 1986 classic which continues to be heartthrob till date , a sequel thats most demanded & awaited , back then team working on the film had no idea they would have such bright future waiting ahead of them.

Here's why I love Top Gun

Like most of us I love it for fighter jet action, the camaraderie between Maverick & Goose, the sizzling chemistry between Maverick & Charlie, the rivalry between Iceman & Maverick & the very sexy volleyball scene but apart from that film has so much to offer

I loved the film for the way its captured in camera, every frame makes us feel that we are the part of Top Gun Squad.

We are not an outsider watching from 3rd person's perspective but we are one of them.

The storyline is very simple & also very non military as far as accuracy is concerned but thats the secret I loved the film, because it gives a complete popcorn movie experience.

Another factor why the film appeals to me is the character of Maverick is just perfect , he has all the qualities that a woman wants in a man!! 

This is wishful filming & in reality we all somewhere dream about having a perfect partner.

The film has balanced the action & personal life of pilots so well thats it captivates the audience to an extent where it becomes unpredictable to know whats gonna happen next ? And I guess thats why I still cry when Goose dies ! We all do , don't we ?

Apart from entertaining the film also teaches us somethings, here's what I learnt

1. You should never give up in life, even in the toughest times .

2. Live your life to the fullest & enjoy every minute of it.

3. Be focussed, determined & passionate about your work & people who are important part of your life.

4. True friendship is hard to find cherish it like anything in this world.

5. Companionship is important inorder to progress you need to help others too, anything you achieve is not only your credit, there are always people who have helped you.

6. Chase your goals & dreams with all the will you have & never compromise on effort.

Just like all of us I love Top Gun for its "I feel the need, the need for speed " line too !! 

Ofcourse like everyone I am eagerly waiting for the sequel to come out.
