Friendships - An Enigma

 Friendships are an enigma, simple to conceive the most difficult to nurture, strong in every sense yet fragile enough to shatter at moment's notice, sometimes seeming half hearted yet full of warmth & love. Friendships that resemble a love affair yet only filled with purity of compassion & respect, sometimes detached & distant yet just a call & text away, seeming complex in the darkest times yet offering the simplest solutions, very seldom leaving behind unhealed scars yet giving a chance to foster the bond, Friendships that come as unique as they can, teaching a lesson that each one is equally precious & not to be taken for granted neither to be counted out yet similar; bound by a common thread of love, care, support. The ones that offer unwaivering strength also offer belly aching laughs. The ones which wipe tears & the ones who heal the soul fully with just one tight hug. Friendships which are God given gifts, making us ponder the reasons to deserve it, yet sometimes feel like the most complicated path to navigate. An enigma in real sense; friendship is a perspective, a mindset, a small gesture, a smile, a kind act, a warm embrace, a bitter truth said in best interest yet a relation so private to be really understood only by the two luckiest people who are in it.
